Hypnotherapy provides a means of working with particular problems and issues through the use of hypnosis. It is solution focused and provides a quick and effective alternative to the more traditional psychotherapy.
Hypnosis is a very safe and natural state of relaxation, which is similar to daydreaming. It involves a deep and focused state of relaxation, and the use of positive suggestions, as pre discussed and agreed with you, the client.
Counselling can help you to address and resolve specific problems; make decisions; cope with a crisis; improve your relationships; promote and develop personal awareness; work with your feelings, thoughts, perceptions, and internal or external conflict.
Often feelings and emotions are related to personal experiences which can hold you back from achieving your full potential as an individual.

With HypnoChange4U, you are in good hands. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist and Counsellor and an Accredited Member of The National Hypnotherapy Society and The National Counselling Society. I have also been approved by AnxietyUK. My hypnotherapy and counselling business is based in Henbury, Bristol.
For many years I have had an interest in understanding and helping people, which lead me to graduate with a BA degree in Psychology and Criminology. This was later followed by a Certificate of Higher Education in Social Sciences and Law in Counselling Skills at Bristol University.
I have successfully completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, with distinction, which is fully accredited by the National Hypnotherapy Society. I also have a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, with distinction, both are fully accredited by The National Counselling Society. All Diploma courses are accredited by the Royal College of Nursing.
For a number of years I have been practising relaxation, meditation and visualisation, with groups of primary and secondary school children. I have also spent many years working one to one with young people.
I now have a successful Hypnotherapy and Counselling business, working one to one, and in groups, with both adults, and children, to help them make changes, overcome difficult situations, cope better with present circumstances, make plans for the future and achieve personal goals.
I offer relaxations sessions to adults and children, to help them de-stress, learn to relax, and prepare for future events. I also provide group hypnosis sessions, designed to help groups of people stop smoking, lose weight, and cope with stress, etc. Finally, I have a selection of cooperate packages available which are designed to raise employee performance and consequently boost revenue, and employee wellbeing.

The sessions are run by a qualified hypnotherapist who has more than 10 years experience of providing relaxation in schools.
The sessions aim to help your young people to learn the value and benefit of Relaxation. They will get the opportunity to enjoy some games and activities, whilst at the same time learning how to practice regular relaxation.
