When my 7 year old daughter Megan first started at Kyoto Shotokan Karate Club she was very shy. Now two gradings later she is more confident and self-assured. Steve Ashby has nothing but patience with the younger children and is especially good at inspiring young shy white belts. With the friendly, family atmosphere I have seen plenty of parents step forward too and join their children in learning Karate. I can't recommend the club enough.

Excellent club, my son trained here and got first class tuition, visit several top dojo's in the country to train and compete, well worth it. Teaches self confidence and discipline.
