• Avon Ski & Action Centre what a slope!!!

  I dont have much to say but as far as dry slopes in the uk go - this is one of the best!!! the equipment was second to none and the services were the best... I strongly recomend you give it a try...

  Having used Avon Ski & Action Centre for my childs Birthday party I have nothing but praise for them, everything they said would be done was and everything i expected happened. And it was all at a much more affordable price than many other sugestions my child came up with. And to top it all off my child and all his friends had the best barty ever...

Specialist Services:

The aim of Avon Ski & Action Centre is to provide a location
where you can come as a family and spend as long as you
like having fun together. We try to provide something for
everyone who enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle.

The fun activities start from 4 years of age. That is when
you are old enough to toboggan and we also teach skiing
in 1/2 hour one-to-one private lessons. From 7 years old
children can try our smallest quad bikes (limiting factor
being the ability to operate the bicycle style brakes) or
they can join the skids club (recreational standard young
skiers). From 8 years old children can join snowboarding
lessons and action days.

The centre is the perfect place for the whole family to have
fun. Everyone over 8 years of age can join in on a multi-
activity package - or if there are 5 or more of you, we will
schedule one just for you.

If some members of the family prefer something less
energetic then why not take a stroll along one of our many
footpaths and wander through the woods while everyone
else participates in their preferred activity.

Rain or shine, summer or winter the action never stops
at the Avon Ski & Action Centre. In a scenic woodland
setting on the edge of the glorious Mendip hills, the centre
is reminiscent of a genuine alpine resort with magnificent
views and a range of activities to suit everyone.

Learn to conquer the slopes under the care of our qualified,
experienced and friendly instructors. Experienced skiers and
snowboarders are promised exhilaration and fun on the
challenging 165 metre dry slope.

If you want to burn some energy (and calories) away from
the slope, you could participate in a wide range of other
activities. Choose from mountainboarding, archery, rifle
shooting, power kiting, clay pigeon shooting, 4x4 driving,
quad biking, mountain biking, rock climbing, abseiling and
many more exciting outdoor pursuits.

After all this, what could be better than relaxing in
Café Boots Bar, sipping your favourite tipple savouring
the spectacular panorama overlooking the channel.
