    Had a machine for 6 months. It broke down the day after delivery, tried loads of times to get someone out to repair it.After 2 weeks a man came out said it needed a new pump, 1 week later it was fitted. In the 6 months I had it, it was broke more than it was useable. Got fobbed off with excuse after excuse. Didnt get my deposit back. The machine was old. Should have bought one for the £160 I wasted!!!!

  • 1 washmacs.....AVOID

    We rented a washing machine from Wash Macs for 18 months witout much problem however the issues came at the end of the contract. Firstly be warned these people never answer the phone - everytime you are required to leave a message and hope that they call you back. This happened when we called to have the machine collected at the end of the following month. They took 2 weeks before they called us back and then they were a week late picking up the machine which caused problems as we had to vacate the premises. They finally collected it and advised us that they would return to us our initial deposit of £30 within 4 weeks. This was last August - since then I have made 12 phone calls and left around 7 answer phone messages in pursuit of the cheque. The only call backs I have received have been when I have pretended to be a new customer. Finally 6 months on from when it was collected, and after a phone call to the office of fair trading and a letter sent by recorded mail threatening legal action did I receive the cheque the very next day - I believe this company is relying on as many people as possible giving up on the return of the deposit. I suggest avoiding this company and renting elsewhere unless you dont mind losing your initial deposit or are prepared to go the the extremes that I had too. Good Luck

  • 1 washmacs suck

    arranged delivery date with them. the driver turned up with a bloody great van and came in. seen i was on the ground floor and space and taps all prepped. then went outside to his van to only come back and say he didnt have a washing machine. surely he would have known that if i was on his delivery route. called washmacs 3 times and got no response as to whether they were coming back out or anything. do not use them. a waste of time. even took afternoon off work for this crap - UNPAID. washmacs you owe me half a days wage.
