  • 2 Bring back the quick sandwiches!

    This used to be a really good place to grab a really tasty sandwich for lunch at a reasonable price. While the price isn't that bad now for what you get it's no longer possible to get just a sandwich. Instead sandwiches now come with coleslaw, salads and crisps and are now £6-50 or more. This means that it's much more of a sit down and take your time meal rather than a quick Cafe lunch. I used to go here on lunch breaks and welcomed being able to grab my sandwich and coffee from next to the till and not take too much time. Now you have to wait for it to be brought to you with all the other items you don't want on a plate. In short it takes too long for my lunch break and I have to buy all the other bits that I don't want.By the time I've bought a coffee too I've spent the best part of a tenner. not something I can do for lunch very often. That said the coffee is pretty good.Also last time I was there I ordered a baguette. When it came it was about 6 inches long and looked more like an oval roll. It was not a baguette.Bring back the value for money sandwiches! The salads are nice but give people the option of something quicker and easier on the pocket please.
