An intense course over fourteen days (170 hours study). It is a prerequisite that candidates must have undertaken and passed a First Aid at Work course and be in possesion of an SIA license. Candidates should already have in depth knowledge of security matters. Ideal for ex-police or military personnel. An advanced driving skills course would be a distinct advantage. Those holding an SIA door supervisors license have the advantage of conflict management which helps considerably. Knowledge on Health and Safety is desirable.
We, at Sovereign Door Supervision, comply fully with the Health and Safety at Work 1974. In these days of litigation for any form of negligence with regard to Health and safety it is damaging to any business not to comply fully. The Health and Safety of Clients, Staff and Customers is paramount, and, as such is given a high priority by all our door staff. All Sovereign Door staff and Stewards have received first aid and fire training. It is incumbent upon all door staff to bring to the management's attention the following salient points, fire appliances (fit for use or otherwise), fire escapes and fire doors (blocked, locked or not signed correctly), trips, slips, falls or any similar potential hazard, venue at capacity and in danger of overcrowding, insufficient or poor lighting in certain areas.

Always supplies good quality door staff for licensed bars. In addition the company are also able to supply a significant number of safety stewards for Rugby & Football matches. All these are badged by SIA and, in addition, are undertaking football steward training to NVQ Level 2
